What’s Inside The Teel Fan Intensive

This is Victoria’s ultimate fan veil course covering all of her grip transitions and show stopping techniques. You’ll have everything you need to start dancing like Victoria, exactly as you see in her videos on the internet.

She’ll show you from the ground level what to do, where to move your arms and feet, and even what goes on underneath her fan.

The Lesson Plan

This chapter is designed to build a strong foundation, allowing you to grasp essential techniques stress-free before advancing to more complex maneuvers. We’ll cover grip changes, overhead circles and more. We will start with exploring the movements with one right-handed fan to build the foundations for the double fan techniques.

This chapter focuses on mastering how to move both fans together, providing a comprehensive method to double fan techniques both in stave and handle grip positions. You'll learn how to coordinate movements and achieve flow with both the right and left fans.

This chapter introduces beginner-to-intermediate level dance choreography using double fan veils to the song ‘Misirlou.’ Beginning with a slow, dramatic entrance and building into show-stopping fan movements fitting the beautiful melody, the Misirlou choreography is a fresh, modern take on this traditional song. You’ll incorporate all the techniques learned in the beginning chapters of the course and learn how to flow from one movement to the next with this soft and elegant choreography.

Taking your skills up a notch, explore the blend of contemporary movements with fan veil techniques to a lyrical, vibrant song by French singer, Yseult. This choreography will guide you through innovative movements and fluid fan veil patterns in a new fusion, fan veil style.

In this video, Victoria reveals the creative hacks she used to keep her shoulders healthy throughout a 13-year-long career in teaching fan veils.

You’ll know what to do each day, for how long, and when to rest for maximum ease so you don’t feel burnt out or overtrain yourself.

Victoria reveals the absolute common mistakes she noticed every fan veil dancer makes, and how to correct them instantly.

In this guide, Victoria covers what are the most common sticky points in each choreography and how to fix them, as well as types of costuming, training tips, and expression ideas for both of the double fan choreographies included.
